What is the Living Monument?
The Texas Capitol Vietnam Veterans Living Monument is an online educational archive preserving the history of Texans in the Vietnam War. Veterans, family members, and civilians affected by the war are encouraged to contribute your story to the Living Monument so visitors can read personal accounts, view photos and videos of Texans affected by the Vietnam War, and join the discussion with moderated comments.

I served Sept. 1967 – Aug. 1968 with D Co. 1/7th, then HHQ Co. Aug. 1968 – Sept. 1968 as RTO for the Battalion Commander, call sign “Red Baron 6-5″, in 3rd. Brigade, 1st. Air Cav. Div.
Worked out of “Camp Evans” and was at “Hue” during the “Tet Offesive of 68″. Also in the air assault to open highway 9 to “Khe Sanh”. In mid/late April went into the “Ah Shau Valley”.

I am trying to find where the soldiers are listed. I am sister to Edward Alton McKim. He was killed in 1969. Trying to locate information about him as both of our parents are deceased and there is no one in the family to find information from. Can someone please help me.
